If you're looking for an engaging way to introduce a new topic to your students, 'See Think Feel Wonder' is the way to go! Use this activity to spark discussion and explore students' prior knowledge and perceptions. The aim is to encourage students to dig deeper than just surface-level observations and GET CURIOUS about the world around them.
My favourite way to use this in class is as a Bus Stop or Carousel activity. For this, you'll want to print off the photos (A4 or A3-sized) and spread them out around the classroom. Split students into small groups and get them to move between each of the stations, discussing and recording their thoughts.
Post-it-notes are a great way for students to record their ideas anonymously and can later be collated to guide a whole class discussion. If you'd like students to record their responses for their workbooks, I've included a template for you to use at the end of this resource. I've also included some headings which you can print off to create a wall display alongside the picture prompts and student responses.
